Born in Kaunas in 1951. In 1976 finished acting studies at the Lithuanian State Conservatory (now the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater) (supervising mentors: V. Mikštaitė, G. Žilys, A. Savickaitė). From 1976 to 1981 worked as an actress at Kaunas Drama Theater, a permanent member of Jaunimo teatras actor troupe since 1981.
