Born in Kengir, Karaganda Region, in 1949. In 1971, graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater; supervising mentor: Vytautas Čibiras. Since 1971, an actor at the State Youth Theater of Lithuania.
