Born in Dusetos in 1953. In 1975, finished acting studies at the Lithuanian Conservatory (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater; supervising mentors: Dalia Tamulevičiūtė and Irena Bučienė). Since 1975 has worked as a theater actor and director. From 1997 to 2016, headed Jaunimo teatras.
