Born in Kaunas in 1940. In 1962 graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory (now Academy of Music and Theater; supervising mentors: I. Vaišytė and V. Ilinkovskis). Worked with different Lithuanian theaters. Since 1975, an actor at the State Youth Theater of Lithuania.
