After a break of 26 years, director Eimuntas Nekrošius returned to the Youth Theatre what was theatre of his youth with a performance connecting present time with a time three decades ago. He reflects how the global catastrophes of the end of the 20th century affects us today. Thousands of crippled destinies caused by the Chernobyl nuclear power explosion and Afghanistan‘s war, thrown to the pheriperies of a new life. Having walked through the tops of the world literature, Nekrošius concentrates on the fate of ordinary people. In the center – personality of Svetlana Alexievich herself and her journey trough time.
