Lietuvių publikai jau pažįstamos danų režisierės Kirsten Dehlholm naujas pastatymas Lietuvoje pagal Astridos Lindgren knygą „Broliai Liūtaširdžiai“ kurtas ilgiau nei vienerius metus. Kirsten Dehlholm – danų režisierė ir vaizdo menininkė, labiausiai žinoma kaip grupės Hotel Pro Forma vadovė, kurianti spektaklius, operas, tarpdisciplininius projektus ir performansus įvairiose pasaulio šalyse.

Kaip šiandien vaikui būtų galima papasakoti apie karą ir mirtį? Niekada nestačiau spektaklių, skirtų kažkuriai amžiaus grupei. Man svarbu, kad spektaklį suprastų tiek mažas, tiek suaugęs. Mėgstu apjungti auditoriją ir nepalikti tarp jos atotrūkio. Man atrodė, kad apie karą neįmanoma kalbėti, neįmanoma to papasakoti scenoje. Bet kuo daugiau galvojau vaiko ir karo tema, tuo dažniau prisimindavau švedų rašytojos Astridos Lindgren knygą „Broliai Liūtaširdžiai“. Nors knyga parašyta jaunesnei auditorijai, man ji – nuostabi, talpinanti daug svarbių temų. Sužavėjo ir pats knygos tekstas, kuris, mano manymu, labai geras, stiprus ir prasmingas. Todėl jį norėjome palikti autentišką. Spektaklyje mums pasirodė svarbu papasakoti pagrindinę istoriją. Tekstą išgryninome atsisakydamos daug šalutinių istorijų, – teigė režisierė. K. Dehlholm kartu su dramaturge Anne Mette Fisker Langkjer visą spektaklio dramaturgiją kūrė iš Astridos Lindgren knygos, neperrašydamos nė vienos frazės.

Šiame spektaklyje istorijos pasakotoju tampa Karlas Leonas, arba kitaip – Skrebutis Liūtaširdis. Pasitelkiant jo vidinį pasaulį – ligos, mirties, išdavystės, tironijos, broliškos meilės, ištikimybės, drąsos ir kitus išgyvenimus, – siekiama perteikti emocinį ryšį ir atskleisti įvairius istorijos sluoksnius. Kūrėjai darbą pavadino vizualine garso drama, kurioje „Brolių Liūtaširdžių“ istorija pasakojama garsais, vaizdais ir balsais, pasitelkiant įvairias audiovizualines technologijas. Spektaklio kūrėjų siekis – sužadinti žiūrovo vaizduotę ir pojūčius, todėl visą žiūrovų salę apgaubęs danų garso dizainerio Kristiano Hverringo sukurtas garsas tapo vienu svarbiausių spektaklio akcentų. Tai nebus tradicinė „Brolių Liūtaširdžių“ inscenizacija, – pasakojo režisierė. Norime spektaklį pristatyti kitaip. O garsas, mano manymu, žmogaus pasąmonę pasiekia kur kas greičiau ir giliau nei vaizdas.
